Sketch Tha Cataclysm

I tried to post this on that day and it didn't work out so well. . . my apologies. . .

What up y'all!

So last evening I attended the incredible Last Of The Record Buyers, a once a month producers open mic session, at its new location The Fifth Element. This was special for them in that the event used to take place at a bar called The Dinkytowner and now heads under the age of 21 could rock their beats.

I made sure I was the first on the list and went about my business of building with heads there. I went up to DJ Anton to introduce myself to which he cut me off to say "yeah yeah I know who you are man. . . that cat from CT. . . weren't you at the Fine Line last night? Oh no sorry I mean the triple rock on tuesday?" and i'm like "yeah both" lol. . . so I guess I am getting spotted now.

A lot of the people that I knew were going to be there I hit up online and have been trying to build so I got a couple what up man comments and then I got up to rock my 3 minute beat session.

I didn't think it was a standout at all but heads really disagreed with me, one cat even telling me that was the best set he heard all night. I got a lot of daps from fellow producers and had some good conversations with local MCs and the cats from Big Quarters. Outside a rhyme cypher popped off and I hopped right in and went at it. I really felt good about that and think I made a really big impression. I ended up running out of cds lol. . .

I really needed that night. . . I really really did. . .

Tonight DJ Anton at Clubhouse Jager and Omaur Bliss, Kanser, Doug Mackabee & Kat Swivel at Kitty Cat Klub. . .
