What's up folks,

It's been a bit since I did one of these. A lot of developments. . . i am desperately in need of sending out another update.

-First, its been less than a month that The Sharing Is Caring EP, my collaborative project with Deto 22 of Phenetiks, has been available to the public. Its been getting excellent responses from the people lately. I've heard that "The Sound" and "This Much Hip-hop" has been getting spins everywhere from the Bowery Poetry Club in NYC to The Monday Lunch on KCFS 94.5 in Sioux Falls, SD. -Two projects have dropped since that release that both feature some of my production: The Rising Sun Quest's Hydrostatic Equilibrium and Cee Reed's Fight or Flight. Both are fellow AntFarm Affiliates. Please support these cats. http://littleax.com

-I will be starting a new column here on antfarmaffiliates.com starting this friday called Conversations With Tha Cataclysm. These will be discussions on the craft and creation of hip-hop music. My first guest in the feature is none other than the aforementioned Deto 22. In the future, i'll have guests on discussing focused topics like engineering hip-hop records, technical rhyme pattern analysis, construction of mixtapes, the art of chopping samples and more. Keep coming back every friday. It should be a lot of fun.

-Every Tuesday, I will be posting my new Rhyme of The Week starting tomorrow on my youtube channel These are all verses that will be done exclusively accapella for the Rhyme of The Week and nowhere else. They will all be filmed on location in different areas. Subscribe to the channel and stay tuned.

-I announced, this past Saturday, that my next release is going to be The Complete Collected Poems of Maya Angelou, a collection of songs adapted from my abstract poetry and free-written prose. I am aiming for a February 2nd, 2010 release date with it followed up by Indie Rappers Do It For Gas Money 2 on April 10th, 2010 (Record Store Day). The release order was decided by votes i received through my twitter and facebook pages all last week.

-I am roughly halfway into the production of an EP for CT hip-hop artist Chase Davis. Its a different mood then I have covered in recent times and it should suit his voice perfectly. More on that as it develops. . .
