Lif show wrap up

Just wanted to say thanks to everybody that came out to the Mr. Lif show we did last night November 3rd at The Heirloom Arts Theatre. The show was great featuring a one hour long set by Mr. Lif who was showcasing most of his soon to be released album. It was a real treat concidering most of the material was being performed for the first or second time. I was surprised after seeing Lif live for the first time how strong of a performer he is. His whole performance was filled with inspiring songs and a great early 90's hip hop feel that was not stagnant in the least.

The show started up with a band Jacobi Wichita, and Ron Vetters with Al Babblez which had the audience yelling for one more song. Then J Bello and Mic Rips (ex Henchmen) did a set followed by Pruven. Sketch The Cataclysm and Phenetiks both did some real hype sets definitely fitting of a performance to be followed by Mr Lif.

I was also impressed with how cool Mr Lif was. From the moment he showed up till he left he was signing autographs and even doing peoples voice mails. Lif even brought a special copy of Sleepyheads volume 3 which he was signing at the end of the show.

Special thanks to all the performers especially SirCumference for driving from Boston for the show, Sketch and Halo for filling in last minute.

yeah he definitely stopped dead in his tracks for a minute while you were performing Sketch. I was following him to talk to his dj and before we went downstairs he just stopped and started watching you for a minute. Thought you might appreciate that.
