My brother in law who lives in Puerto Rico sent me this video of his boy 79 Siete Nueve. Hes getting on daddy Yankee for his choice and is saying he would be a better help if he kept his mouth shut. Daddy Yankees Biggest hit "GASOLINA" or GAS. Pretty funny.

even if you cant understand the lyrics you can clearly hear that this is real Hip Hop music and that in Puerto Rico the emcees deal with the same bullshit we do out here. We have that radio garbage to contend with and they have that Reggeton B.S.

Reggetone is NOT an accurate representation of Spanish Hip Hop. dance to it If you want but understand that its not your only option. Hip Hop is spoken in many Languages and Im happy I can understand two of them.

Just to throw my two cents in this, Reggaeton is NOT Hiphop. We got to be careful about the term Hiphop. Its been so badly abused it aint even funny. Half the people in the mainstream, so called Hiphop category, aren't even Hiphop, in my opinion.
