What’s good people,
Just wanted to give you a rundown on the XOTIC DREAMZ car show that went down this Sunday @ Porter and Chester. It was a beautiful day and i finally got to do an outdoor event without it raining. There were hundreds of the hottest cars I’ve ever seen and dozens of CT's hottest car clubs representing.
Cut’s Hip Hop and R&B station HOT 93.7 was in the building yes. But don’t get it confused. AFA was providing ALL the music. Setting it off was DJ Halo with a set to start the day off. Then Fellow AFA member Warren Wax held it down the rest of the event playing all the right music to keep the vibe a live one throughout the day.
I rocked a Quick set around 2:00 just after the Chocolate milk Chug...lol which by the way was quite interesting to see grown men Chug chocolate milk in the hot ass sun. Anyway I rocked "Take care of Business", "Rock to the Rhythm" and a Freestyle over a Warren Wax Beat Box which I must say the crowed thoroughly enjoyed.
After my set the car clubs went at it in a tug of war competition on the grass. It was funny to see cats get manhandled and fly across the line. I think a few of them cats ate grass. I guarantee if AFA was there in full effect we would have been able to take any car club on. Othello, Nem, Quest, Expertiz, Protege, and Wax VS. ANYBODY YOU GOT....lol
All and all I think it was a Dope event. I had a good time and made some new fans, which I love.
I took tons of flicks and posted them on my myspace page and I saw a few video cameras too so maybe some video of the event will pop up.
Got to thank Xotic Dreamz for having me there and Porter and Chester for letting the event take place there. Thank you Mo Nikles and Othello for the sound system, DJ halo for Setting up and setting off the event, Warren Wax for Representing AFA to the fullest on the wheels of steel and Sketch and Protege for helping pack up. This Sunday was another example of how AFA comes together to make shit happen.
In case you missed the performance peep the events page for the rundown on future shows. I got a busy September with the show @ the Webster, Enter the Cypher 3 year anniversary, WNEC Palooza, and Tuxedo Junction in Danbury.
Much Love
Quest
