- So many...but let's start with the main ones. DJ Premier, DJ Shadow, RJD2 and Beatnuts. I could go on all day and talk about Ahamad Jamaal, David Axelrod, Dorothy Ashby and those alike, but you'll probably not read the whole thing.
- Bio:
- One half of DefTuch (as in Defnyshn and Silentuch), a fraction of PsiDweys Thinquen (hope I spelled it right), and brother of DJ Sir.Cumference of the legendary Phenetiks.
I've always been a fan of hip-hop since the early days (and by early days I mean mid to late 80s). My first proactive venture into the world of this great art began sophomore year of high school when I wrote my first few rapps. I started out rhyming with a small crew called Marksmen, which consisted of three MCs, one of which was the producer. Though I loved the rhyme game, I found myself irresistibly attracted to production the moment I sat in a room and saw one of the crew members making beats on a keyboard. Little by little, I figured the basics on how to piece melodies together, and combine them with drums. As I progressed throughout the years, I started making beats on the Music Generator for the Playstation in 2001 (which by the way was an awsome starter kit because of the sampling capabilities). Later on, I bought my MPC 1000 that I still use to this day, and linked up with Silentuch to form DefTuch and made several great tracks as a crew along with PsiDweyz Thinquen. As I continued, I started out making simple cypher beats for DefTuch and Sketch the Cataclysm (of PsiDweyz Thinquen). Now that I've evloved strictly into a producer (dropping the mic), I'm constantly striving to make great production and compositions sure to open the ears of the masses.

-"Journey Towards the Sun" by The Rising Sun Quest (6 Tracks off of the LP)
-"Lost" Sketch the Cataclysm
Along with the songs in the discography, I've also done work for gospel singer Dooreen Head, and Virginia-bred rapper in Germany, Dee Minzar.
