back in the day, i never had a "favorite" mc.
i had a handful of ones i thought were dope...and better than most...
but to me, the over-all dopeness was production, with a touch of dj'ing.
so my favorite "hip-hop" figure isprimo, ever.
mc's were typically a dime a dozen...
that was until of course i met: roc-one - and that's some real shit. he knows this.
and heard: aesop rock - consistantly amazes me everytime.
My favorite MC of all times, all things considered, has to be Chuck D. I wanna say Ghostface Killah, because he's sooooo nasty with his abstract connections, incredible imagery and blazing style and I wanna say Jay Z or Biggie because they are such incredible wordsmiths and have such tight flows and I wanna say Big Pun because he is such a direct influence on my style (I think) but I gotta stick with Chuck because his voice is so powerful and his message is so urgent and timeless. FIGHT THE POWER!
Common used to be my favorite emcee. . . just cause he would talk about things, use personification, and he used to be ultra wordy
and Pharoahe Monch because of how crazy he would come off on a record. . . he was always off/ontime and had some of the most creative verses I had ever heard
and Gift of Gab because he is just incredible
and. . . and. . . and. . . sorry I have failed miserably. . . can't name one. . . probably why I make music myself

I hate everything about this guy....No not you Nasa, Kim Jong Il. Haha. Fantastic work by Sketch. Nasa is one of the most interesting cats I've come across on the indie scene. His discog is about 3 pages long, but you wouldn't know it unless you're…
